This course gives you an opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of the role of information systems and technology (IS/T) in businesses around the world, along with a critical awareness of current and emerging issues in this continually developing sector.
You will learn from our expert team and external guest speakers, renowned for their specialist knowledge. You will also enjoy the programme’s emphasis on debate, critique and interaction with other students and staff.
On completion of your course you will have the necessary skills to become an effective IS/T manager with strategically valuable capabilities in IS/T.
Blended learning mostly online via OnlineCampus (an interactive online learning environment) with intensive class discussion and collaboration, plus a one-week compulsory residency. The residency will be held in Salford or Zürich, Switzerland.
Strictly limited to 90 per term
10,000 CHF (Swiss Francs, approximately ). This includes library access, OnlineCampus access, graduation fees, and University of Salford matriculation fees. Fees are payable in interest free instalments over 12 months, however, the programme is not eligible for UK Postgraduate Loans for Master’s Study. The fees are for the entire programme, and include all the courses as well as supervision for the final innovation project.
The Residency costs, such as airfare and accomodation, plus a 2000 CHF (Swiss Francs, approximately ) tuition fee for the residency, and some of the textbooks that you will need for the course are not included in these fees.

Normally a minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent.
A wide range of professional qualifications are also accepted either in partial or complete fulfilment of entry requirements.
We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.
